A full day field trip will depart at  9:00 on Friday 11th September. The trip will depart from the Praza de Galicia, at the Airport bus stop, in front of the Banco de Santader. Please try to be there on time.

In the morning we’ll visit the Iron Age settlement site of Castrolandín, a remarkable example of community-driven management and enhancement.

In the late morning we’ll head to the Campo Lameiro rock art park, a fairly recent infrastructure built just a few years ago around one of the most remarkable concentrations of Bronze Age rock engravings in the region.

Coach will be returning to Santiago via Santiago Airport for those who wish to be dropped of to catch their flight. The estimated time of arrival into the airport is 17:00.

Lunch, in the rock art park cafe, is included in the price of the excursion. Please note that the cost of field excursion is not included in the registration fee.
